印度电梯工人在电梯事故中遇难

据《印度时报》报道，印度孟买的Mulund East地区发生电梯事故，导致一名40岁的电梯工人身亡。由于一座公寓楼的住户报告称电梯运行失常，该电梯工人当天前往这座公寓楼对电梯进行修理。当时他在三楼进行维修操作，碰巧有人在13楼按下电梯呼叫按钮，于是电梯轿厢撞到该名工人。警方称该工人当场死亡。

LIFT WORKER KILLED IN ELEVATOR MISHAP IN INDIA

A 40-year-old elevator company worker was killed in a lift mishap in the Mulund East area of Mumbai, India, on February 6, The Times of India reports. The man had been called to an apartment complex to repair its lift, which residents said was not functioning properly. He was on the third floor performing repairs when someone on the 13th floor pressed the call button, and the elevator crushed him. Police said he died on the scene.
