TECHNICAL SAFETY BC OFFERS COMPANIES CORonAVIRUS HELP
Technical Safety BC, in response to the coronavirus situation, is asking regulated companies in British Columbia, Canada — including vertical-transportation (VT) companies — to contact the agency if they are unable to uphold their responsibilities under the Safety Standards Act. "We’re committed to helping you work through these challenging circumstances," the agency said in a statement, specifically citing companies that do not have "enough personnel to maintain compliance to the act, regulation, code, and equipment manufacturers’ operations and maintenance requirements."
