A 12-year-old boy was seriously injured when he fell three floors from an escalator at a shopping mall in Bangkok on February 20, the Bangkok Post reports. One of approximately 20 students visiting the mall with their teachers, he was reportedly reaching for his dropped cell phone when he lost his balance and fell. He was hospitalized and said to be in “safe” condition.
