Updated renderings of the thyssenkrupp Innovation and Qualification Center (IQC), which includes the tallest elevator test tower in the Western Hemisphere, have been revealed by architect Gensler, showing revisions that provide a look at the tower's inner workings, Curbed Atlanta is among news outlets to report. Rising next to SunTrust Park and The Battery adjacent to Interstate 285, the 420-ft-tall IQC will be the "tallest manmade, inhabitable structure" in Cobb County, Georgia, the source observes. thyssenkrupp says that the completion is anticipated in Summer 2021, with move-in by the end of 2021 or early 2022.
